A beautiful Manor House surrounded by peaceful countryside and still a great location to be within easy driving distance to all the main sites , beaches and villages across the North Norfolk area. You’re made very comfortable with lots of space in and out of the accommodation for a family or a couple traveling to Norfolk . Marie was happy to share local areas/ places to visit and always available to assist . Breakfast is a bonus and a great start to the day , be it a full English breakfast or a lighter option to ready you for your adventures . Recommended for anyone looking to visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation is lovely and in a peaceful, rural setting. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is scrumptious. Freshly made bread, croissants, and variety of cereals and much more! We had the additional cooked breakfast and it was delicious. Maire is a lovely host and so helpful and kind. We really felt comfortable and at home and will definitely be coming back.

Marie was a very friendly host .The location was very peaceful and the accommodation was very clean and homely. Marie’s breakfasts were more than ample and the home made produce was a bonus. Really good coffee. Our two grandchildren enjoyed the grounds and zip wire. We will visit again.

Hill Farmhouse was the perfect place for a Norfolk stay – a close drive to main hotspots. The farmhouse itself is lovely and beautiful, large and spacious master bedroom and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and generous. Maire is super friendly and accommodating and made our stay extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

First and foremost Marie is a fantastic host, she is welcoming and friendly.
The master bedroom is huge !
The second bedroom has two single beds which can be pushed together.
The bathroom is also huge ! Roll top bath and free standing shower !
Marie includes breakfast :- better than most hotels ( homemade jams and breads etc )
Great WiFi
Use of a relaxing stately tv lounge as there is no tv in the bedrooms .
I highly recommend this location and this wonderful host who really cannot do enough for her guests.

We loved our stay at Maire’s beautiful house. It was the perfect location, close to lovely sandy beaches and inland attractions, such as Bewilderwood (a brilliant woodland theme park).
The house is a sympathetically restored Georgian farmhouse with large, comfortably furnished rooms. The lounge looks out onto pretty gardens and was such a relaxing place we found it hard to drag ourselves out each day.
We stayed with our two children and although they had their own twin bedroom next to ours, our bedroom was large enough for us to put their mattresses in our room so we could all be together. Maire only ever has one family staying with her at a time so you have lots of privacy.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and it included Maire’s homemade jams, marmalade and local honey.
Maire was the perfect host and told us all about the local area, things to see and do and the history of her house and its surroundings.
We really loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

Maire is a perfect hostess and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived giving us fresh milk to make some tea and introducing the children to the zip wire in the garden! The master bedroom is very spacious, with a superking bed, and windows in all directions which provided a lovely cross breeze in the heat. The second bedroom is smaller and perfect for kids/teens, id say more of a squeeze for two adults and the single beds are definitely single. The bathroom was very big, very clean and had a separate shower which we all enjoyed and Maire provided an abundance of towels of every size! Breakfast was served at a time to suit us and there was something for everyone. lovely fresh coffee.
Maire is a very lovely lady who enjoys looking after people but is also discreet, she strikes the perfect balance.
